Sirjana Bhatta

I am a Research Scholar

I'm a passionate PhD student since September 2025 in Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Rutgers University, focusing on cutting-edge research and innovative solutions. My expertise spans advanced technologies, problem-solving, and collaborative development with a commitment to excellence.

Currently working under the supervision of Prof. Hang Liu, I combine theoretical knowledge with practical implementation to drive meaningful progress in computer engineering and research innovation.

Prior to my doctoral studies, I earned my Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Communication, and Information Engineering from the Institute of Engineering (IOE), Thapathali Campus, Tribhuvan University, Nepal, in 2024, with a score of 81.44%.

  • Worked on AI-driven projects including fine-tuning LLMs, using frameworks like LlamaIndex and LangChain for RAG, applying LLMs for NER, etc.
  • Built and optimized backend services using Python, FastAPI and Celery.
